Mandy's News & Notes
In the arms of a centuries-old vampire, a woman awakens to newfound passion—and magical powers of her own.
Hungarian vampires are born, not made—and can breed with mortal females. Being one of the oldest of his kind, Quill Falconer has honed his skills at hunting just the right kind of prey, which is why his latest victim confounds him. She shouldn't remember his drinking her blood. And he shouldn't still be craving more .
Callie Hathaway's life is as normal as it can be after the death of the beloved grandmother who raised her. Until one night, feeling foggy and fatigued, she realizes that a strangely sensual encounter with a dark, handsome man didn't occur only in her imagination.
As Callie and Quill's unique connection draws them together, an ancient order of knights seeks Quill's destruction. Being together puts Callie in mortal danger—until she uncovers a magical family legacy. Side by side they'll fight for survival, and for each other, as the brotherhood of vampire hunters gather for one final showdown.
THE LATEST NEWS
My editor finished reading NIGHT'S ILLUSION, and this is what she said: I really enjoyed the way you transitioned Father Lanzoni from helpful family friend and trustworthy priest to sexy vampire. He's an unexpected hero but all the more interesting as a result. I also loved the relationship between Cassie and Mara—they are such different kinds of women, but their rapport was almost instantaneous. And Mara's many appearances in this book are all so great. She's always been one of my favorites.
My editor has asked for a sequel to ENCHANT THE NIGHT, which hasn't even been published yet. However, she loves the story and wants more. So, in an effort to please her, I wrote a beginning to what I hope will turn into the book she wants. I posted it on the In the Works page. If you read it, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what you think. Enchant the Night will be published this August.
Next up is Night's Illusion, which is the last book in my Children of the Night series. At least, I think it is. You never know. I thought the series was over after Book 4. My biggest concern now is for the cover. It's no secret that I'm not happy with the cover for Enchant the Night. It isn't remotely what I wanted.
For those who speak Spanish, I just signed a contract for a Spanish translation of Night's Kiss. Not sure when it will be available.
If you're looking for 4 quick reads, you might give my anthology, Seasons of the Night, a try. It has four of my short stories in it.
The Children of the Night eBook bundle containing the first four Night books is also available now.
MASQUERADE, THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, JESSIE'S GIRL, and SANDY'S ANGEL are available now for the amazingly low price of only 99 cents each.

FIND THE LIGHTNING,a short time travel book, is available now. It's another Relampago story. It was fun to be back in the Old West, if only for a little while. You can get a peek at it on the In the Works page and see the cover on the Baker Books page.
All of my reverted Baker books are now available on Amazon.
I have bookmarks for TWILIGHT DESIRES, NIGHT'S SURRENDER, BEAUTY'S BEAST, NIGHT'S PROMISE, AS TWILIGHT FALLS and NIGHT'S MISTRESS, as well as for many of my older books, both for Baker and Ashley. How cool is it that the same God who created mountains and oceans and galaxies looked at you and thought the world needed one of you, too.
